The company can be traced back four generations
to the 1920's with Arata Motor Sales. Arata Equipment
is a fourth generation family owned company that
has been serving the refuse industry in most regions
of California and the State of Nevada since the
mid-1950's. Leach Company manufactured the primary
product offered by Arata through its early years,
but over the years and industry transformations,
Arata has expanded its product lines and services.
Today Arata Equipment Company currently represents
the best manufacturers of solid waste collection
and disposal equipment available. Arata's product
line features the following manufactures; Leach
Company, Labrie Equipment, Lodal Inc., Wittke,
Peerless, Kann Recycling, Ameri-Kart Corporation,
Otto, Schaefer Carts, Precision Loads, Whelen
Lighting Systems, Clarion Systems, Intec Camera
Systems, Barker Products, Silent Drive, and the
Sandbagger Corporation. By specializing in a select
group of equipment types, we are able to provide
